Permissions and governance

This page describes the Voltr-based Sine USDC Lending (SOL) vault. Other vault platforms can have different roles and permissions. Portfolio management, vault accounting and underlying lending each introduce their own dependencies.

Component Responsibility Main dependency
Sine Capital Allocation decisions, execution and monitoring Manager software, data and signing infrastructure
Voltr Vault accounts, LP shares, fee accounting and adapter interfaces Vault programs, adapters and protocol authorities
Kamino Underlying lending markets Borrowers, collateral, prices, liquidation mechanisms and liquidity
Investor wallet Holds LP tokens and authorizes investor operations Key security and transaction verification

The vault administrator controls supported configuration settings, including capacity, withdrawal waiting periods, manager authority and Sine fee parameters. The administrator also manages adapter access, which affects the execution routes available to the vault.

The admin role is distinct from the manager used for regular strategy operations. Separation reduces the authority required by the automated executor, but does not eliminate administrative risk.

Some configuration can change after creation. Read the current settings before depositing; a description of the initial strategy is not a permanent restriction on all future administrative actions.

The manager executes supported allocations and withdrawals between the vault and initialized strategies through available adapters. The authority is constrained by the deployed contracts and configuration.

An allowed adapter is not proof that every market reachable through it is suitable. Market admission, portfolio concentration and scenario analysis are additional responsibilities of Sine’s controller. Do not assume every controller rule is independently enforced by Voltr contracts.

The manager’s access is not a general promise that funds cannot be lost or redirected through a compromised integration. The specific adapter code and permissions matter.

Voltr has authorities separate from our vault administrator. Its instruction interface includes protocol-controlled per-vault fee updates. Infrastructure upgrades and protocol-level permissions are additional governance dependencies.

Kamino has its own configuration and governance mechanisms. Changes to underlying markets can affect lending risk and liquidity independently of changes to our vault.

Voltr publishes links to a FYEO security review of its Vault v1.0, a Certora report, and Sec3 X-RAY reports for vault and adapter programs. Sec3 X-RAY is a static-analysis tool; it should not be treated as equivalent to every form of manual review or formal verification.

See Voltr’s audit directory and the FYEO Vault v1.0 report.

These references concern the components and versions reviewed in those reports. They do not establish an independent audit of Sine’s allocation engine, the current vault configuration, every connected adapter or every Kamino market. A report does not guarantee that a deployed system is free from vulnerabilities.

Stale information can prevent new allocations. Protective reductions require a viable execution route and available liquidity. A stopped executor does not automatically unwind positions: funds can remain exposed in their underlying lending markets.

Recovery depends on restoring reliable data and signing access, reconciling confirmed transactions and then executing any required changes. Investor withdrawal timing can be affected during this process.

Do not transfer USDC directly to these addresses. Use the deposit action to receive LP shares.

Use links from sine.capital and independently compare the full vault address, LP mint and underlying token mint. A token name or logo alone does not establish identity.

Sine will not require your seed phrase or private key to process a deposit, withdrawal or support request. Review wallet transaction details before signing.
